Comedian/actor Katt Williams has reportedly been arrested on burglary and criminal trespassing charges in Georgia.

According to The Associated Press, Williams is currently in custody at a Georgia jail and a judge is expected to set bond during his arraignment later today (November 9).

Police revealed that they recieved a phonecall from an unidentified homeowner on Sunday night (November 8) claiming that Williams had broken into their home and stolen items which included jewelry. Other details were not revealed.

Williams (born Micah Williams) is well known for his roles in films like Friday After Next and First Sunday. He has also had success via his stand-up specials which include Katt Williams: Pimp Chronicles Part 1 and Katt Williams: It's Pimpin' Pimpin'.
