R&B crooner Jill Scott is pregnant with her first child. The singer made the revelation to reporters at the Television Critics Association conference in Los Angeles on Friday (January 10).

The singer, who is engaged to drummer Lil' John Roberts, divulged that she is due April 25th.

Scott is promoting her new HBO series The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency. The show is based on the popular novels by Alexander McCall Smith and will air this year.

PREPARE FOR FANTASY

Ciara will be releasing her third solo album titled Fantasy Ride in April.

The album will feature appearances from Young Jeezy, Ludacris and Justin Timberlake. Production on the proje ct is supplied by Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, Danja, Polow Da Don, Rodney Jerkins and Missy Elliott.

HITTING THE ROAD

R&B superstar Ne-Yo will be embarking on a North American tour next year in support of his latest album Year of the Gentleman.

The singer's tour will kick off in Las Vegas on February 5th and will wrap up on March 1st in Memphis.

Year of the Gentleman was released in September 2008 and debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200. The album has already sold over 600,000 copies.
