For all the XBOX 360 owners out there who love killing unwanted aliens, they need not wait much longer because Gears Of War 2 is off the two-year hiatus list and is set to be in the hands of players by November 7th of this year. Once again, it’s exclusively for the XBOX 360 only, (sorry Play Station 3 users) and continues to follow the exploits of Marcus Fenix and his bunch of heavy artillery gunslingers.

If you’re willing to shell out a little more cash, there’s a limited edition available that comes with an alternate art cover display in closed in a steel case with a DVD, and book titled Beneath The Surface: An Inside Look At Gears Of War 2.

In true Microsoft fashion, online gaming modes will be available along with a storyline that involves the COG soldiers doing battle with the Locust Horde for the second time around. But as mentioned earlier, XBOX 360 is the only platform where you’ll be able to get your shoot-on, and if you don’t have one, don’t threat because Microsoft is practically giving them away now at $200.00.

So if you’ve been a good boy this year, you shouldn’t be worried about asking your girlfriend for an advance on one Christmas gift, and make sure Gears Of War 2 happens to be it. [Watch Trailer]
