Listmania: T.I.'s Top 10 Videos printer friendly version Send this story to a friend!

With T.I's latest album, Paper Trail,  on the shelves I figured it fitting to take a look back at his video trail. T.I. has truly proved himself to be one of the greatest artists of this era by consistently dropping hot music and refusing to be a part of the downward spiral hip-hop has been going through. Not just a Southern icon, T.I. gets love on every coast and with projected sales of Paper Trail looking big, things aren't going to change anytime soon.

Let's take a look at T.I's Top 10 music videos in this week's edition of Listmania.

10. "No Matter What"

This video's simplicity was its genius. The lyrics were the draw so they stripped down the visuals and just made it T.I. alone spitting his lyrics. He was going through some drama at the time so it was definitely interesting. This video is proof that sometimes less is more.

9. "What Up, What's Happning"

This video shows T.I. back on his old stomping grounds in the A. It's cool to see the sights of Tip's old hood. And I know all you car lovers were bugging out at the site of that souped up GTO. This video showed that even a multi-millionaire could go back to the block.

8. "What You Know"

Easily one of T.I.'s hottest videos, this was made to support his movie ATL which was the theme of the video itself with clips of the movie plus cameos from the stars especially Lauren London, which is always a treat. Mike Epps' hilarious cameo was a major highlight in this video as well. 'It's all about getting midgets pregnant'.

7. "Whatever You Like"

This song is a mega smash hit so any video would have been cool but they put some thought into it and made it a 4 minute long fantasy of a fast food checkout girl. She goes from slinging wings to the finer things as T.I. takes her all over the world to experience tropical locales, expensive hotels, and patron on ice. This video is hot and might end up being one of T.I.'s biggest hits ever.

6. "Big Things Popping"

This video was made at the height of the whole T.I. Vs. Tip concept so it was only fitting that the two start the video by having a push-up contest. Tip wins and goes on to perform on stage at a huge, empty stadium. The beat was banging courtesy of Mannie Fresh and we even got a little cameo from the man himself.

5. "Live In The Sky"

Anytime you get Jamie Foxx and Forest Whitaker to star in your video you know it’s gonna be hot. The video starts off with a very real heart to heart conversation between T.I. and Jamie Foxx. T.I. then goes on to dedicate the song to his man Philant (Rest In peace) while Jamie tickles the ivories and Forest plays the role of death. This is easily T.I's most creative and touching video ever.

4. "24's"

T.I.'s first major video is pretty much self-explanatory. It's called 24's and you see a lot of 24's. You get that gritty Atlanta sound with a less polished T.I. Where his expensive suits usually are you see football jerseys. He whips an array of hot cars all on 24's (surprise, surprise). It's filled with around the way honeys and crews deeper than the U.S. Army.

3. "Bring 'Em Out"

T.I. spends most of his time riding around on the top of a bus in this video. The up-tempo track by Swizz Beatz with the Jay-Z vocal sample had T.I. on his a-game as he lyrically shut this down. We also get to see classic Impala's and some of the best eye candy around. This video was hot and one of the songs that truly helped propel Tip to superstardom.

2. "Why U Wanna"

Tropical locations, banging girls in bikinis, and Chris Robinson directing is always going to make for a hot music video. That’s the approach T.I. took on this one and he scored big time. Hot song with a hot video to match.

1. "Rubberband Man"

Easily my personal favorite, I feel this is the song that really put T.I. on the map. David Banner killed this beat and pops up in the video just acting a fool which is hysterical. Jazze Pha and Usher show up to do a little dancing. Even Diddy shows up with the Phantom and the Chinchilla to lend some support. T.I. just rocks his back in the day, pre 8 figures swag. This video is just banging, bottom line.
