Standing out as a model can be a very trying task. Courtney Black has never had this problem. Growing up in California, Courtney knew she had a knack for entertaining a crowd when she began acting as a little girl, however, it was a little later in life when she began to, um, shall we say, develop, that would lead her to modeling.

Blessed with a figure that could stop traffic on a highway, Courtney was quickly accepted into the world of modeling and considered one of its most beautiful assets. Featured in many top magazines and ranked as one of Smooth magazines top 100 most beautiful women in the world was just the beginning.

The English and Hungarian beauty was also featured in music videos with some of hip-hop’s brightest stars such as 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, Nelly, Baby Bash, Twista, Pitbull, Ludacris, and more. Learning from every job she’s ever had, Courtney is now focusing more and more of her time on acting, starring in two movies in 2008, House Arrest and House of Smoke.

In between modeling and acting, Courtney finds the time to be a full-time college student. She has goals of one day winning an academy award and obviously, motivation, is not going to be an issue. With talent and looks to spare, Courtney is ready for the road to super stardom, and by the looks of it, it will be a short ride.

Sixshot.Com: Hey Courtney, how you doin'?

Courtney Black: I’m awesome, thanks! I’m super busy right now. I have school and work. I’m making time for my family and my friends. I’m really kind of sleepy.

Sixshot.Com: All right so you've been in a few videos. Tell us which ones.

Courtney Black: The last video I did was Cyclone with Baby Bash and T-Pain but they cut a lot of my scenes out though. I think it was because I looked similar to his girlfriend who was also in the video. I was also in Don Omar Conteo’s “Hit the Floor” with Twista and Pitbull. I’ve worked with Ludacris and 50 Cent. I was in Tony Yayo’s “Curious” and Nelly’s “Errytime”. I’ve really spent this last year working on a few films and I’ve kind of left videos out of the equation even though I did enjoy the few that I did.

Sixshot.Com: Were the videos a good experience for you?

Courtney Black: Well, I would say everything has its pros and cons. Of course, anytime a girl is on camera or she’s getting her picture taken I’m sure she’s happy. It really all depends on the people you are working with. It’s important that they’re great at their job and they have a good heart, that’s always been really important to me.

Sixshot.Com: How did you get into modeling?

Courtney Black: I’ve entertained as an actor since I was a little girl. As I grew up my body started to change and I suppose people started viewing me as a girl who had the potential to do videos or something like that. I gave it a try and I guess you could say it kind of worked out.

Sixshot.Com: Was it something you always wanted to do or did you just kind of fall into it?

Courtney Black: Yes, looking at beautiful women is something that I’ve always wanted to do so to be able to look at myself in that way is very exciting to me.

Sixshot.Com: You have a very exotic look. What's your nationality?

Courtney Black: Thank you, my mother is from Liverpool in England and my father is from Philadelphia but his parents are from Hungary so when my grandfather came here to the United States our last name was Fekete, which was translated to Black. I’m just a basic white girl from California but my parents have a more international background.

Sixshot.Com: You were recently in Smooth Magazines 100 sexiest ladies list, how did that feel?

Courtney Black: That was very sweet of them to put my picture in there amongst all those other beautiful ladies but they keep recycling the same picture from 2005. I guess they like it a lot and recycling is good, so that’s okay.

Sixshot.Com: You're getting into acting more seriously now. Tell us about that.

Courtney Black: I’ve always been into acting, it’s just that now I know more what I want and how to go about things. In the past not knowing certain things limited me from moving forward with it.

Sixshot.Com: Now the fellas want to know what type of guy Courtney likes. Let us know.

Courtney Black: I like anyone who is genuinely sweet and doesn’t pride himself on being a man’s man. Muscles and all that used to be important to me but now it’s all about the heart, which is more rare and special.

Sixshot.Com: What type of music are you a fan of? You’ve been in quite a few hip-hop videos, is that your favorite?

Courtney Black: Everything! I like jazz and rap, ballets, hip-hop, classical, rock, just about anything that makes me feel good.

Sixshot.Com: Your body is one of a kind and some people might make claims that some of your assets are fake. Clear that up for them.

Courtney Black: (Laughs) Since I think I know what you’re referring to, when I was little people would think I had pillows in my pants because I guess butt jobs were not around at the time, plus I was only like 12. In this day and age people are always saying my butt is plastic or something but you can ask anyone who knew me as a kid and they will tell you it’s not. I used to hate it because my rear was not equivalent to the rest of my body, like the top part, so when I was 20 I made the decision to alter my breasts from a B to a D.

I’m not shocked by any ones comments although it does hurt my feelings sometimes. It’s like a double-edged sword but I’ve been dealing with it for my whole life. Everything is kinda getting out of hand nowadays though so I can expect that they would say some things but also we as people and human beings for some odd reason or another are always trying to look for something negative in things we like.

Sixshot.Com: What are your goals for the future as an actress and a model?

Courtney Black: My goals are to win an academy award and produce a few things.

Sixshot.Com: Where can the fellas go and check you out and see more pics?

Courtney Black: www.Myspace.com/only1courtneyblack is a more personal look at me and then on my website www.CourtneyBlackOnline.com, it’s a little more official, just to put it out there I am looking for a new web designer. I have a few films coming out soon. House Arrest and House of Smoke so just always keep an eye open.

Sixshot.Com: Anything you have coming up that we can check for?

Courtney Black: Towards the end of the year I’ve been making a lot of decisions on where to step next so that is soon to be seen.

Sixshot.Com: Anything you'd like to say to your fans at Sixshot.Com?

Courtney Black: Thank you so much to everyone for taking the time to read about me and look at my pictures. Thank you to all of you and lots of hugs and kisses!
