R&B singer Amy Winehouse will reportedly be facing a lawsuit for failing to perform at a French festival.

According to the BBC, Winehouse was expected to perform at France's Rock En Seine festival over the weekend but she canceled her appearance at the last minute.

The organizers for the festival posted a statement on their website saying that Winehouse's camp didn't give them a reason for the no-show and  they now plan to take Winehouse to court.

A representative for Winehouse told the BBC that the singer missed the event due to an illness but never specified what the illness was.
