A police officer reportedly pulled a gun out on Sean "Diddy" Combs and his entourage in Los Angeles on Saturday morning (August 24th) following a routine traffic stop.
According to New York’s Daily News, the Bad Boy mogul was being driven by a member of his entourage when authorities pulled them over after realizing their rental car had improper tags.
One member of his entourage was detained for not cooperating with police, at which point Diddy and several others advanced towards the deputy officer.
A spokeswoman for the sheriff’s department told the Daily News, "A deputy pulled his firearm, fearing for his safety” and “The situation was deflated as quickly as it began."
Diddy’s spokeswoman Keesha Johnson said the officers were “really respectful” and that the gun was never pulled specifically on her client.
The driver was spared a ticket since the car was a rental and police said no one was hurt in the incident.
