
2 Live Crew founder Luther Campbell has signed a record deal with South Florida based label The G Inc.
The G Inc, which was founded by Lu Diaz, Berto Torres and Ata Gonzalez, is credited with launching Miami rapper Pitbull's career.
“We are honored to have Luke on board our label - he is King,” said Diaz via a statement.
Luke currently has a VH1 reality show titled Luke's Parental Advisory which airs on Monday nights at 10:30 p.m. EST.
The show captures the rapper trying to juggle his new marriage, children and his adult business.

Rapper/singer Wyclef Jean has penned a song for tennis phenom Venus Williams called “Venus (I'm Ready)”.
The song will serve as Williams' theme song during the 2008 US Open tennis tournament which will take place from August 25th to September 7th in New York.
“Venus' de
termination and mental strength inspires me!” explained Jean via a statement. “Much like Isis, her strength should be celebrated.”
Jean and Williams established their friendship when they were paired for an episode of Iconoclasts. Iconoclasts brings together two talented stars from different fields to discuss their passions and creative processes.
The Venus Williams/Wyclef Jean episode of Iconoclasts will air on November 13th at 10pm ET/PT on the Sundance Channel.
