50 Cent is reportedly in talks to star in an upcoming independent flick titled Spectacular Regret.

According to Daily Variety, the flick’s plot interconnects the lives of four Los Angeles natives struggling to overcome past events.

50 Cent is in negotiations to play a death row inmate who becomes a cause celebre while facing imminent execution.

The flick, which will also stars Danny Huston, John Ortiz and Kelli Garner, is slated to begin shooting in Los Angeles in July.
