The back and forth between 50 Cent and the mother of his son continues as the G-Unit honcho will reportedly ask a judge today (April 3) to have her evicted from his house in Long Island, New York.
50 and Shaniqua Tompkins, his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his son Marquis, were embroiled in a bitter legal battle over child support payments last year.
50 was initially ordered to pay $25,000 a month in child support to Tompkins but a judge would cut it down to $6,700 in February this year on condition that Tompkins used the money to find a new residence.
According to Radar Magazine, 50 claims that Tompkins has not attempted to find a new residence and is taking advantage because he pays all the bills for the Long Island home.
Tompkins lawyer, Paul Catsandonis, plans to argue today that his client cannot be evicted because by definition she is not a tenant. Tompkins doesn’t pay any rent and there was no lease agreement.
Catsandonis will also emphasize Tompkins has to take care of two children who reside in the house, Marquis
STRONG>and her daughter by another man. Both children also attend schools in the neighborhood.
Tompkins also claims that 50 promised her the house.
A representative for 50 Cent refused to comment on the case.
