What more can be said about Biggie that hasn’t been said already since his passing? March 9th, will mark 11 years since he was taken from us, and he’s still the measuring stick to which all MCs strive to be like. When you read any interview by a new MC, they always have the same line about their fledgling career, “I’m trying to make music like Biggie did.” Even though every rapper that says that is putting their foot into their mouth, because that will never happen, it’s still a nice gesture to aim that high. I chose to go with Biggie’s classic, “I Got A Story To Tell” as this week’s Sweet SixtEEn to honor the greatest MC to ever breathe on a mic, because its one of my all time favorites as it should be yours; regardless if you’re 10 or 40-years-old. Biggie we miss you, we love you, and you were truly “Unbelievable.”
