Snoop Dogg presents "the big squeeze" after all the trouble Snoop has been in lately he has come good with this album. No lie this is one very fresh piece of music with that old school west feel staying true threw out of the album. I’m going to do this track by track to give you the real feel for this. The download I got did not have track 2 for some reason so I cant speak on that.
So 1st track - We came to bag out - Beat us hard and heavy in your face lyrics is nice flow is on point good production on this Dogg Pound comes with the nice adlibs and flow, then Soopafly comes in with some damn nice lyrics and some nice flow on it too all in all this is a nice track, 8/10
The 2nd track - Shackled up - The start of this track reminds me of some old Chinese film of some sort but its nice, Warzone comes with some nice lyrics good flow he sounds a bit like Xzibit again the beat is nice there’s a little dodgy part in it that I wasn’t sure if I was feeling it, there are other people featured in the track that aren’t listed on the track lists. Track is nice still, 7/10
The 3rd track - Hat to the back - Ok beat is quite simple but very effective the lyrics are fresh on this it’s a guaranteed to make your head nod. Chorus is catchy by Snoop on it always a plus for record sales, this is a real nice track over all, 9/10
The 4th track - Pop pop bang - Straight of the bat this is either going to annoy you to death or its going
to get you hooked straight away. The track is a good opportunity For Snoop and company to show of there different styles of flow. I’ve got to say the track is getting me hooked the constant flow and beat just catches you good production on this, 10/10
The 5th track - 31 flavours - Ok on this Snoop makes a reference to the police raiding his place when he was caught in the possession of marijuana. He says they planted it on him. Snoop comes nice on this one too, ok it’s not his best but its was straight still. Kurropt came nice as well both held there own on the beat the chorus is quite catchy not like Pop pop bang, 8/10
The 6th track - All about Damani - Ok the beat is nice on this its like a introduction to the new artist Damani. He has got some nice lyrics on his first verse he stays on beat be on the watch for him. Snoop does the chorus for the track which is nice Damani second verse is nice. Over all this is a solid track, 8/10
The 7th track - Like rock stars - The beats got the guitar going and the chorus is nice man this is a dope track for sure all the rappers come together real nice on this one, production on this is nice comes together with the rappers to make another solid track, 8/10
The 8th track - Spend some time - Ok this is like one for the ladies real soft RnB feel to it. Sounds like John legend on the hook to me might not be he isn’t featured on the track listing. From the soft start the rap comes in and it comes in nice again a real nice production here one for the ladies! 8/10
The 9th track - Fuckin is good for you - Ok this is a good track funny at some points and so true at others. It’s a bit dirty not for the kids the lyrics and flow are good through out the track. The adlibs on this are quite funny but when it all comes together the track is a good one, 8/10
The 10th track - Get your body moving - Again sounds like John legend on the hook on this. The raps are nice throughout and the lyrics are nice also to add to it. I wasn’t feeling the first emcee to much on this. The track needed Snoop on it I feel. Not the best so far, 6/10
The 11th track - Get closer - Snoop raps pretty quick on this I must say he nails it. He had it locked with the beat, and azure sings a nice chorus. The lyrics are deep and real nice on this. Don’t know if Snoop is aiming this at someone or whether it’s just another one for the ladies. I feel it’s aimed at someone there’s some deep lyrics in it nice track, 9/10
The 12th track - Can you get away - The track was produced by David banner featuring Ray j. On this Ray j sings a real nice chorus this is a real nice track from the off. Goldie loc comes good on this I think if he releases a track from this it’ll be this or Pop pop bang. Again this shows the caring side to Snoop real nice track I must say, 9/10
The 13th track - Get it started - Chorus is a bit corny from Snoop beat is real nice I can see a remix coming on this one. Would make a big hit as a club song if remixed for sure. The heavy breathing in the beat can get a bit annoying if you listen to hard but its a nice track id say, 8/10
The last track - Be thankful - Starts with a Snoop skit, but comes into a real nice track. Beat has a nice piano feel, chorus has a real nice artist singing it. The track is very true to all emcee's alike nice track nice way to finish the album of shows he’s grateful for his gift, 9/10
Ok my overall view on this album its one of the nicest ive heard from Snoop Dogg. Some tracks just get you hooked straight away; others are nice but not as catchy. Although saying this the album has hardly any faults. I can’t really say anything about it derogatory id recommend this to any rap fan really good album over all. 9/10
