Blow It Out (Yo Asses) Ist there anything more beautiful than driving home on a dirty and dusty street of the United States, and then - when you got back home - putting your feet on a table, turning on the tv and eating some chicken and drinking a beer? Right, there’s only one thing that’s more beautiful than that: To start with the chicken and beer habit in the morning. Ludacris, for his part, seems to be quite addicted to that type of meal and that beverage – his album’s name proofs that chicken ‘n’ beer gotta be a part of his Dirty South life.
As far as the rap techniques are concerned, you can’t blame and/or hurt the man from Atlanta: Just listen to the intro „Southern Fried Intro“ to hear a perfect-rhyming Luda with an ill coming double-time over a sick beat – showing you what he got! Then you have “Stand Up”, the album’s first single already being on heavy rotation and more for the clubs, and “Blow It Out” which is another proof of Luda’s ability for witty wordplays. Lyrically, there’s nothing this guy can’t do, and as far as the hip hop heads are concerned (e.g. you, the readers), that guy definitely deserves a lot more credits and props than he gets – just listen to the track “Hip Hop Quotables” once, and you’ll know. An easy-made beat, not too complicated, and Luda spitting sick metaphors – and nothing else than that. Unfortunately, it’s the music that makes this album not a classic. Most of the time, the beats are great, bu
t sometimes, they just are not able to support the lyrics in the right way. This makes a couple of good tracks sound like lame and boring album fillers `cause the pressure falls off at that moment. If you listen to that album from start to the very end, you’ll feel like there’s something missing, and you don’t know what. As a matter of fact, you’ll feel like the record is dope, but not a classic for whatever reason. Still: What Ludacris does with his lyrics and words deserves respect and people who buy that record – and it is a good product. Think that guy does give a fuck – blow it out yo ass!

From this point I will be waiting on Ludacris' next album to come out. This one seems a little out of place. Not the typical Ludacris album. Too grimey. But still I-20 and Shawnna give it up. And of course, Pop cultures' newest sensation Chingy delivers his verse in the product.
