I guess y’all have seen Eminem’s movie debut “8 Mile” by now, right? And I hope all y’all have copped the soundtrack to the movie. When you guys were sitting in the cinema watching the flick, did you recognize the fact that some tracks they were using for it were not on your soundtrack disc? Well, ladies and gentlemen, this is not enigmatic, it’s nothing but true. That’s why the people behind the project released another soundtrack called “More Music From 8 Mile”, which is a collection of the tracks that were used in the movie but were not put on the soundtrack. The basic reason why the tracks were not on the soundtrack is simple: They’re all classic tracks stemming from back in the days, from the time when the story of “8 Mile” actually happened, in 1995: All the tracks on this one were already classics around that time and must have influenced people such as the main character in the movie, B Rabbit, in becoming an MC. Classics? Well, Mobb Deep’s “Shook Ones Pt. III”, Notorious B.I.G.’s “Juicy”, Naughty by Nature’s “Feel Me Flow” and so on. Due to the fact that those joints are not new, we don’t rate this record. We just give you the tracklist and tell you that, if you don’t possess all of those tracks, well, then you should, 'cause, once again, it's all classics. The rest is your decision.
